Surprise!

I love surprises. Especially when they are named Adam. I was on my morning break when he called and said he'd be in Lincoln and wanted to grab some lunch. It was so unexpected, I was definitely stoked to see him, since I haven't done so since he's been back from Iraq. He picked me up at The Depot and we went to Blimpie's, nothing spectacular, but he paid and that's always nice, ha ha. It was so good to see him again, and he brought along his new pup, Sidney. She goes everywhere with him, and she's got kind of an Alpha Female complex; she pretty much doesn't like any girls, regardless of species. Adam and I couldn't even hug without her freaking out. Kind of amusing. That's pretty much it for that department.

Hung out with Brett last night. Kind of freaked him out a little bit, but it's okay, he's my friend, he's used to some of the crazy stuff I say and do. I'm just not sure he was expecting quite the story I had for him from this weekend. Sometimes I scare or startle my friends, and that's no good. But maybe we'll do something this weekend. I have a whole bottle of Jack just waiting for me to drink it. I love Jack.

I also love sleep, something I must go partake in now. Later kids.
